Видеокарта для ноутбуков ISKAA LS-3481P описание

Отдельная видеокарта в ноутбуке - это роскошь, и раньше подобное встречалось нечасто, а сегодня и подавно... производители предпочитают распаивать видеочип прямо на материнской плате ноутбука - так проще и дешевле. Ну а сегодня, зачастую и этого не требуется, современные процессоры имеют встроенное графическое ядро, которому вполне по плечу тягаться со многими дискретными видеокартами.

Сегодня у нас в гостях достаточно старая видеокарта из какого-то ноутбука Toshiba, примерно 2007-2008 годов. Такие видеокарты обычно производились с 256 Мб памяти "на борту", но были и урезанные - с 128 Мб, но наша видеокарта продвинутая, она имеет целых 512 Мб видеопамяти, что по тем временам было, конечно не рекордом, но вполне неплохим объемом.

Внешний осмотр

Это плата размерами 110 мм на 90 мм. Мне она попала в таком вот виде: от всей системы охлаждения осталась лишь эта вот крышка из нержавейки... тепловую трубку уже кто-то оторвал, наверное, для сдачи на цветной металл... на крышке есть стикер: K000051930 WK?05K и штрих-код...

С обратной стороны металлическая рамка, которая держала всю систему охлаждения...

Откручиваем четыре винта, снимаем эти остатки СО, внутри щедро намазано термопастой... Где такую купить? Нигде...

И GPU тоже намазан... кроме того, на чипах памяти эластичные теплопроводные прокладки... Здесь есть наклейка: 4559RL51L02 S3481P О803 О2 J2 - убираем все.

Итак, рассматриваем плату внимательнее. Маркировка на плате: Vendor GCE, ISKAALS-3481P Rev:1A 2007-05-24 Made in China. UL indicator GX B-VOA... Основа видеокарты - мобильный видеопроцессор, или GPU. Голый кристалл, на котором нанесена маркировка: ATi Radeon Graphics 216MJBKA15FG NC8095.00 0741SSP TAIWAN. Это видеочип ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600. Начало продаж этого чипа приходится на 14 мая 2007 года. Архитектура TeraScale, техпроцесс 65 нм. Четыре чипа оперативной памяти стандарта DDR2 с маркировкой: Samsung K4N511630E-7C25. Далее такие элементы; микросхема APL5912 - линейный регулятор напряжения. Микросхема 62 68CAZ и логотип INTERSIL - и это ШИМ-контроллер ISL6268CAZ. Чип производства Texas Instruments с маркировкой L339 - это компаратор. Теперь MOSFET транзисторы: 7686, потом два AHGK8 FDS 6676AS... Возле GPU разъем под шлейф JPV2 - зачем он нужен, я не знаю.

Обратная сторона платы, здесь на текстолите та же самая маркировка. Но бумажные наклейки таковы: одна M76 SAM512 и потом 2094590901496 LS-3481P 4559EL51L02 REV:J2 J804... С этой стороны еще четыре чипа видеопамяти... SMD-элементы: чип UV12 - маркировка логотип AMD и название T1 C... Потом микросхема UV2 B460... Разъем с маркировкой на плате JPV1 - это разъем типа JVGA, подключается к материнской плате.

Подводим итоги

Видеокарта ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600, а точнее ISKAA LS-3481P была неплохим решением для своего времени. Я уже описывал видеокарту для ноутбуков ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 - это бюджетная модель и выпущена более чем за год до этой модели... Она намного скромнее сегодняшней... Практически по всем параметрам. К сожалению, система охлаждения на этой видеокарте уничтожена, хотелось бы попробовать ее в деле... В том же ноутбуке Dell Inspiron 9400...

Radeon HD 2600 являлась прямым конкурентом мобильной видеокарты NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS. На этом все, заканчиваю. Если будет дополнительная информация - статья будет дополнена.

A separate video card in a laptop is a luxury, and this was not common before, and today even more so... manufacturers prefer to solder the video chip directly on the laptop motherboard - it's easier and cheaper. Well, today, often this is not required either, modern processors have an integrated graphics core, which is quite capable of competing with many discrete video cards.

Today we have a rather old video card from some Toshiba laptop, approximately 2007-2008. Such video cards were usually produced with 256 MB of memory "on board", but there were also truncated ones - from 128 MB, but our video card is advanced, it has as much as 512 MB of video memory, which at that time was, of course, not a record, but quite a good amount.

Visual inspection

This board measures 110mm by 90mm. It came to me in this form: from the entire cooling system, only this stainless steel cover remained ... someone had already torn off the heat pipe, probably for surrender to non-ferrous metal ... there is a sticker on the cover: K000051930 WK? 05K and barcode... On the reverse side of the metal frame that held the entire cooling system...

We unscrew four screws, remove these remnants of the cooling system, inside it is generously smeared with thermal paste ...

And the GPU is smeared too... besides, there are elastic heat-conducting pads on the memory chips... There is a sticker here: 4559RL51L02 S3481P O803 O2 J2 - remove everything. So let's take a closer look at the board. Board Marking: Vendor GCE, ISKAALS-3481P Rev:1A 2007-05-24 Made in China. UL indicator GX B-VOA... The video card is based on a mobile video processor or GPU. Bare die marked: ATi Radeon Graphics 216MJBKA15FG NC8095.00 0741SSP TAIWAN. This is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 video chip. The start of sales of this chip falls on May 14, 2007. TeraScale architecture, 65 nm manufacturing process. Four DDR2 RAM chips marked: Samsung K4N511630E-7C25. Further such elements; chip APL5912 - linear voltage regulator. The 62 68CAZ chip and the INTERSIL logo is the ISL6268CAZ PWM controller. The Texas Instruments chip labeled L339 is a comparator. Now MOSFET transistors: 7686, then two AHGK8 FDS 6676AS... Near the GPU there is a connector for a JPV2 cable - I don't know why it is needed.

The reverse side of the board, here on the textolite is the same marking. But the paper stickers are as follows: one M76 SAM512 and then 2094590901496 LS-3481P 4559EL51L02 REV:J2 J804... On this side there are four more video memory chips... SMD elements: UV12 chip - marking the AMD logo and the name T1 C... Then chip UV2 B460... The connector marked JPV1 on the board is a JVGA type connector that connects to the motherboard.

Summing up

The video card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600, or rather ISKAA LS-3481P, was a good solution for its time. I have already described the ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 notebook video card - this is a budget model and was released more than a year before this model... It is much more modest than today's one... In almost all respects. Unfortunately, the cooling system on this video card is destroyed, I would like to try it in action... In the same laptop Dell Inspiron 9400...

The Radeon HD 2600 was a direct competitor to the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS mobile graphics card.
