Это изделие предназначено для охлаждения процессоров от компании AMD. Кулер был куплен в магазине Pulser за 1564 тнг. (примерно 12 американских у.е). Гарантии как таковой на него не дается, всего лишь три дня на проверку…

Кулер упакован в картонную коробку цвета а-ля синий. Ни на коробке, ни где-либо не указана модель этого кулера – просто AVC и все. Так же вы не найдете технических характеристик. Продавцы не в курсе, процессоры каких мощностей он может охлаждать...

Кроме самого кулера в коробке больше ничего нет. На контактную площадку (подошву) нанесена термопаста. Для ее защиты на подошву кулера одет пластиковый кожух

Кулер алюминиевый, но контактная площадка медная. Площадка несколько выступает над поверхностью самого алюминиевого кулера, насколько она уходит в глубь неизвестно. Контактирующая с процессором площадка обработана на все пять – хорошо.

Ребра радиатора продольные, тонкие, обычного профиля.

Вентилятор 80 мм, встроенного устройства для изменения оборотов нет. Разъем трехпиновый. Скорость вращения – 3000 об/мин, производительность – 47 CFM.

Монтаж кулера осуществляется просто. Нанесенная термопаста довольно таки качественная. Шум, издаваемый вентилятором заметен, хотя далеко не критичен.

Теперь о главном. Этот кулер был установлен на обычный (т.е. не игровой) комп, на процессор AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+. В силу особенностей материнской платы MSI K9N6GM очень трудно выяснить истинную температуру процессора. Такие программы как Everest не отображают вообще никаких значений для этой матплаты (за исключением температуры винта). Для мониторинга на установочном диске к матплате имеется программа PCAlert 4. Но данные о температуре процессора у этой программы разительно отличаются от значений из БИОСа… Если PCAlert стабильно показывает 21°С, то в БИОСе 27-28°С. Как-то цифрам из БИОСа верится больше… Хотя, если честно, и там и тут может быть вранье.

В общем, вышеназванные значения температуры имеют место быть при средней загруженности ПК, например, просмотр видео. Радиатор на ощупь холодный.

Да, Athlon 64 X2 4000+ (Brisbane) сам по себе «не горячий хлопец», но все равно, кулер делает свое дело на совесть.

Выводы. Итак, за исключением разной мелочевки, этот кулер достоин похвалы, как честный трудяга из массового ширпотреба. Конечно, оверклокерам он нужен чтоб кидать его в соседских котов… по ночам… А вот простым смертным – как раз впору. И на душе спокойней за процессор – ведь могли купить вообще дешевку за 5 баксов! А тут с запасом, медяшка… И вообще, шумит, крутится и есть не просит.

The cooler is packed in a blue cardboard box. The model of this cooler is not indicated either on the box or anywhere – just AVC and that’s it. You won't find technical specifications either. Sellers do not know what processor capacities it can cool...

There is nothing else in the box except the cooler itself. Thermal paste is applied to the contact pad (sole). To protect it, a plastic casing is placed on the base of the cooler.

The AVC Z8MB008 cooler is aluminum, but the contact pad is copper. The platform protrudes somewhat above the surface of the aluminum cooler itself; how deep it goes is unknown. The area in contact with the processor has been treated to all five – good.

The radiator fins are longitudinal, thin, and have a regular profile.

The fan is 80 mm, there is no built-in device for changing the speed. Three-pin connector. Rotation speed – 3000 rpm, performance – 47 CFM.

Installation of the cooler is simple. The applied thermal paste is quite high quality. The noise made by the fan is noticeable, although far from critical.

Now about the main thing. This cooler was installed on a regular (i.e. non-gaming) computer, on an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ processor. Due to the nature of the MSI K9N6GM motherboard, it is very difficult to find out the true temperature of the processor. Programs such as Everest do not display any values ​​for this motherboard at all (except for the screw temperature). For monitoring, the installation disk for the motherboard contains the PCAlert 4 program. But the data on the processor temperature of this program is strikingly different from the values ​​from the BIOS... If PCAlert consistently shows 21 ° C, then in the BIOS it is 27-28 ° C. Somehow the numbers from the BIOS are more believable... Although, to be honest, both here and there may be lies.

In general, the above temperature values ​​occur under average PC load, for example, watching a video. The radiator feels cold to the touch.

Yes, the Athlon 64 X2 4000+ (Brisbane) itself is “not a hot guy,” but still, the cooler does its job conscientiously.

Conclusions. So, with the exception of various small things, this cooler is worthy of praise as an honest hard worker from mass consumer goods. Of course, overclockers need it to throw it at the neighbor's cats... at night... But for mere mortals, it's just right. And my soul is calmer for the processor - after all, you could buy something cheap for 5 bucks! And here with a reserve, little copper... And in general, it makes noise, spins and does not ask to eat.
