Borderlands 3 and disappointment set in...
Did my dear gamer brothers wait for the Third Board? They waited... But something is not visible to your satisfied faces, why so? Ah… the game isn't hacked, and it's ridiculously expensive. It's clear. The game has Denuvo protection, due to which a performance failure makes it impossible to play in a company, constant crashes, some incomprehensible problems here and there... Don't worry - they'll fix it all, healing patches were promised a month before the game was released - strange such. Do they release a specially crooked game or something, and stock up on patches in advance? Or they are afraid that the vaunted Denva will still be broken by seriously angry hackers (and I must say, they have good reasons for that). And these cracks will carefully cancel the patches - break it again, and we still have patches in stock.
Yes, if they remove this protection, and somehow fix problems with optimization and performance, even if they lower prices, go to sales, turn a blind eye to piracy - this no longer plays a role. Because the main thing cannot be fixed - the new game turned out to be not at all new. Still the same old Borderlands 2, in new packaging... And the second Borda is still the same first Borda... Nothing new, however, there is something new - the old gaiety and humor have evaporated somewhere, something labored, dull... The former dashing and recklessness - Where are they? Now some glamorous showiness...
And the first two parts did not differ in harmonious balance - complex / simple, interesting / monotonous, tense / annoying. Now in the Third Game, this very concept - "balance" - is completely crossed out.
Remember, at one time the three Mass Effect games caused a lot of criticism, because the second and third games weren't really new games - they were continuations of all the same things ... And small cosmetics are not a new game. But after the release of the failed Andromeda, the first three parts of Mass Effect immediately began to be perceived properly: here they are - real and solid games, and Andromeda is zilch. With Borderlands 3, this happened before - the third part became zilch.
Separate sites, in separate topics, or lonely pages on social networks splatter with enthusiasm for Borderlands 3, so stubbornly that the thought involuntarily creeps in - is this not a scam? A hired clack for posting (at a price of 20 rubles for a text of 1000 characters) - looks like it?
And of course, all authors, developers, publishers, and not only games, need to remember one simple thing:
The retinue makes the king!
Denuvo scissors this retinue... greedily and stupidly.
No wonder Microsoft, in general, having all the tools to once and for all put an end to piracy in relation to their products, does not resort to this. The result is Windows the undisputed leader of operating systems. And a significant part, if not half of this leadership is provided to them by pirates, thereby paying back "their sin" by 100%.
The publisher of Borderlands 3 preferred a retinue (in other words, an army of fans), a group of hired clackers. So much the worse for the game. And the more important birds flopped to the ground... and the more worthy games were left out.
But let's wait and see what happens next.
