Некоторые игровые приставки имеют беспроводные джойстики (или геймпады), и вот - хорошо бы их как-нибудь подключить к компьютеру и погонять с их помощью игры, написанные под Windows. Компания Майкрософт решила эту проблему...

У меня только это устройство, больше ничего нет. Я не знаю, но вроде бы это оригинальное изделие - не китайская подделка. И да, почему-то оно не работает... Подключение к ПК ничем не проявляется - ни Виндовс, ни сам ресивер никак на это не реагируют.
Внешний осмотр
Это пластмассовая закругленная со всех сторон коробочка размерами 70 на 40 и на 18 мм. С одной стороны (светлой) надпись XBOX360 кнопка и светодиодный индикатор.
В коробочку идет качественный кабель длиной 1 метр 86 см. На его конце USB разъем перед ним ферритовый фильтр...
С другой, с темной стороны в резиновой окантовке снова XBOX360, название PC Wireless Gaming Receiver, и голографическая наклейка...
Разборка ресивера
Разобрать это устройство не так-то просто... оно не предназначено для разборки - корпус склеен. Но, тем не менее, разбираем.
Внутри вот такая плата... на другой стороне - это кнопка...
Убираем плату. Во второй половинке видим кусок железа - для веса...
На плате с одной стороны такая маркировка: PC Wireless Gaming Receiver Designed by Peter zhu 080-92016011 V1.1 Date: 2010-02-27. По центру распаяна микрокнопка и один SMD-светодиод... разведенные места под еще четыре - пустуют. Один кварцевый резонатор E12.000
Обратная сторона - здесь много элементов. Во-первых, микросхема Microsoft X801998-005 U90915 VL8611.1 - микроконтроллер. Затем 8-ногий чип ATMEL 24C04N и это EEPROM память. Затем похожий на микросхему элемент с маркировкой AM158 - это трансформаторная сборка. Затем 6206S стабилизатор напряжения, и SMD-транзистор A1sHB... На плате мы видим еще одну маленькую платку, сверху она закрыта стальным экраном.
Убираем его... Но это мало чего нам дает. Убираем и остатки экрана. Теперь видим микросхему здесь - MS VM63SL 8099901 - вероятно, это и есть контроллер Wi-Fi...
Отрываем эту плату, у нее с другой стороны логотип Microsoft, затем 81900493 VO AR E154554(S) SH-M1 FR-4.
Завершение
На этом обзор и разборка данного устройства закончены. Информации об этом устройстве крайне мало. Кроме того, что подключив его к ПК, вы сможете использовать до четырех беспроводных джойстиков Xbox 360 для игры в Games for Windows!
Сделано все неплохо, качественно. Как работает - не знаю.

Overview and disassembly of the USB receiver for Xbox 360
Some game consoles have wireless joysticks, and now it would be nice to somehow connect them to a computer and drive games written for Windows with their help. Microsoft has fixed this issue...

I only have this device, nothing else. I do not know, but it seems that this is an original product - not a Chinese fake. And yes, for some reason it does not work ... Connection to a PC does not manifest itself in any way - neither Windows nor the receiver itself react to this in any way.
Visual inspection
This is a plastic box rounded on all sides with dimensions of 70 by 40 and 18 mm. The box comes with a high-quality cable 1 meter 86 cm long. At its end there is a USB connector in front of it, a ferrite filter... On one side (light) the inscription XBOX360 is a button and an LED indicator. On the other hand, on the dark side, in a rubber frame, XBOX360 again, the name PC Wireless Gaming Receiver, and a holographic sticker...
Receiver disassembly
Disassembling this device is not so easy... it is not intended for disassembly - the case is glued together. But, nevertheless, we understand. Inside there is such a board .. on the other side is a button... We remove the fee. In the second half we see a piece of iron - for weight...
On the board on one side is the following marking: PC Wireless Gaming Receiver Designed by Peter zhu 080-92016011 V1.1 Date: 2010-02-27. A micro button and one SMD LED are soldered in the center... the divorced places for four more are empty. One quartz resonator E12.000
The reverse side - there are many elements. First, the Microsoft X801998-005 U90915 VL8611.1 chip is a microcontroller. Then an 8-leg ATMEL 24C04N chip and this is EEPROM memory. Then the IC-like element labeled AM158 is the transformer assembly. Then a 6206S voltage regulator, and an A1sHB SMD transistor... On the board, we see another small scarf, it is covered with a steel screen from above.
We remove it... But this does not give us much. We remove the remains of the screen. Now we see the microcircuit here - MS VM63SL 8099901 - this is probably the Wi-Fi controller... We tear off this board, it has the Microsoft logo on the other side, then 81900493 VO AR E154554 (S) SH-M1 FR-4.
Completion
This completes the review and disassembly of this device. There is very little information about this device. Plus, by connecting it to your PC, you can use up to four Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers to play Games for Windows! Everything is well done, good quality. How it works, I don't know.
